The Seven Deadly Sins of Startups

Here’s a post mortem on a company that tried and just didn’t make it. The list of 7 deadly sins is a great checklist to see if you are on the right path — and if not, you can change your business to get them off your list. Yes, you can be forgiven — but you need to take action!

Roger Ehrenberg writes, “Ultimately, we failed. But why did we fail, and what could we have done differently? Some of the stuff is pure 20:20 hindsight. These observations aren’t worth much. But the interpersonal dynamics, the issues of organizational structure, the need to change strategy in light of new information, the relationship with key investors, all of these are very instructive. I will endeavor to be as honest and candid as possible.”

Check it out, check them off and get going!
